I am so so grateful to have met Dr. Yip and her staff, Carolyn! Both are personable, kind, and professional. At every visit, Dr. Yip will talk with you about your oral care and certain foods/diets that may affect your teeth and gums. But don’t worry if you haven’t been great at oral hygiene, she is understanding and will give you suggestions/information to be better. She has a steady hand when doing cleanings/fillings and checks in if she sees any discomfort. The TVs on the ceiling are great for distraction from the dental equipment too. Treatment plans and costs are straightforward. I was avoiding dentists for years because of dental fear and since coming to Dr. Yip, I feel more at ease because I know I’ll be in good hands.

Dr. Yip and Carolyn are amazing! Always on top of all my insurance coverage so I am not hit by any surprises. Dr. Yip is extremely thorough and genuinely cares about your well-being. She explains things so it's easy to understand and lets you know if things are simply cosmetic or a necessity. Glad I found her since I've moved to the bay area!

I contacted ConfiDental Smile after a minor dental emergency, as their practice was the closest one to my school. As luck would have it, I came across not only a fantastic dentist but a team of incredibly kind, patient, and informative individuals who made my experience there outstanding. Thank you Dr. Yip and everyone at Confidental Smile. I will definitely be back for my routine check ups!

Being new to the city and looking for a new dentist isn't the easiest of tasks but I am very happy to have found a quality dentist down the street from where I live and at a great price. The entire staff is really nice and helpful. Definitely recommend.

Dr. Yip and her team are very friendly and caring! They are very thorough and made sure that I felt comfortable during my appointments. Dr. Yip checked in with me a day after my most recent appointment to see how I was doing. I have only been here twice but will definitely return for routine dental cleaning!

Dr. Yip is great! I recently had a lot of pain in my tooth and she got me in to see her the very next day. After she determined it was a fractured tooth and needed a crown, she came in an hour before opening the next day to fit me in.

I haven't been to the dentist in a long time. Dr. Yip was amazing. They were able to squeeze me in on short notice due to some cancellations. Her staff was great, they made the whole process painless. Also Dr.Yip has a soft touch and a very caring heart. I barely cried. Lol. Actually didn't cry at all. The office is very nice and super clean. I was super impressed and can't wait to go back for my follow up.

I was very pleased with my visits! I went in for a cleaning, and then a follow-up visit for fillings. Dr. Yip and her staff were very friendly and answered all of my questions to ensure I was comfortable with the work to be completed. They also began the appointment on-time, which was important to me to ensure I didn't take additional time out of my work day.

Doctor Yip is amazing! I had waited far too long to go back to a dentist and finally decided to bite the bullet with a doctor that was close to home and covered by my insurance. ConfiDental Smile is located in a super easy spot from my house, though it's honestly not in the safest part of the neighborhood. Ultimately I didn't feel unsafe on my way to or from the office so I don't think it's all that bad!

As for the dental work itself, Dr. Yip was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind. She asked what I needed to have a smooth appointment and actually listened & followed my requests.
